We all want to save a buck, and when it comes to purchases for our boats, that can be a tall order. So today you’re going to see my first blog about a specific sale on some specific electronics. This isn’t usually something I’d write about – let those manufacturers do their advertising on their own – but in this case I’m making an exception because there will be plenty of folks out there who will want to know about it, and will regret it if they don’t hear: Simrad is offering some serious cash-back deals on new gear.
Here’s how the sale works – if you buy any of the listed electronics from now through June 30, 2010 (and mail it by then, too) and send Simrad a copy of the dated receipt plus the original bar code from the product box, they’ll send you back a check. Here’s the list:
NSE12 12” Multifunction Display System ($150 back); NSE8 8” Multifunction Display System ($100 back); NX40 8” Display with Echo sounder ($50 back); AP24/28 Autopilots with AC12/42 Computer ($100); GS15 GPS antenna ($50 back); BR24 Broadband Radar ($100 back – take this one while you can, Broadband is SWEET!!!); 6kW/10kW/25kW HD Digital Array Radar ($200 back); BSM-1 Broadband Sounder ($75 back); WM-2 SIRIUS® Weather Receiver ($75 back – another very cool item to have onboard); RPU80/160/300 and HLD 350/2000 Hydraulic Drives ($100 back); WR20 Remote Commander ($50 back); IS20 Wind, Graphic or Combi Instruments ($35 back).
You say you just bought one of these things, and now you’re ticked off that you did so before the offer was made? No prob – Simrad will cover purchases retroactively, back to February 8 of this year. Just get a rebate form from an authorized dealer, or by downloading it from www.simrad-yachting.com/timeforanupgrade/us/ Pretty sweet, eh?
